The Toshiba Dynario is a portable fuel cell in your backpack. This new technology is the cleanest and most efficient generator of energy. This fuel cell weighs 280 grams, measures only 15 cm wide x 2.1 cm deep x 7.45 cm high and can produce enough power in 20 seconds to charge two mobile phones. The power is stored in a in-built lithium ion batteries and can be transferred via a USB cable to your mobile phone or digital media player when needed. This technology really is beneficial to the mobile generation which is always on the go and at times loses the battery life of the devices in use.

The Internet

The internet has been around for quite awhile now but one thing about it still hasn't changed.....it impresses me! It's truly an amazing invention that makes everyone's life easier, especially college students. I was thinking about this topic the other day, while studying, when it occurred to me how much time I save through the use of the internet that previous generations didn't have the luxury of using. I began to think about how much information I have access to at the touch of my fingertips and before the invention of the internet I thought about all of the painstaking hours of research people must have put in to write a simple research paper. It's truly amazing how much technological progress we have made over the years and it seems to me that we all take it for granted.

Nowadays we expect new inventions and progress to take place regularly and make our lives faster, easier, and more efficient. We don't seem to take the time to truly appreciate where we are and how far we've come. A simple complication with technology seems to anger us all and this amazes me. Next time you have a slow internet connection or a problem with your cell phone, think about how these devices are operating hundreds, possibly thousands, of applications at once all while sending signals and messages to outer space, bounced off of satellites, and then sent back to earth to their desired location. This is truly an amazing process that we all seem to have lost grasp of and appreciate less. If you ask me, we should all still be marveling at the invention of phone land lines. The progress we've made and the pace at which we continue to make progress is unbelieveable and one of the older inventions that is now considered outdated, the internet, still continues to be our most valuable resource in the technological field.
